To do well in any subject you must be able to think correctly! Thinking skills are something you can learn and develop. Ask yourself questions as you read your textbooks and notes. Talk to other students whom you notice have good thinking skills. You can also sharpen your thinking skills by taking IQ tests available in books or the Internet, or playing games that require thinking such as word games.

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Tan Sri Arshad Ayub's name has been synonymous with Universiti Institut Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the education institution that he helped to develop over the years. Arshad is proud that the institution has churned out hundreds of thousands of Bumiputera professionals since its inception in 1967 as Institute Teknologi Mara (ITM).
Arshad who would be celebrating his 88th birthday on 15 Nov was appointed as the first director of ITM in 1967, a post that he held until 1975.
