To do well in any subject you must be able to think correctly! Thinking skills are something you can learn and develop. Ask yourself questions as you read your textbooks and notes. Talk to other students whom you notice have good thinking skills. You can also sharpen your thinking skills by taking IQ tests available in books or the Internet, or playing games that require thinking such as word games.

UCSI Awarded RM13.7 Million To 607 Students

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- UCSI University Trust today awarded its 607 students with scholarships and bursaries worth RM13.7 million for this year.

Its chairman Datuk Dr Mohd Karim Abdullah Omar said the scholarship was given under UCSI University Trust's Prestige Scholarship Award and Trust Scholarship-Principal's Award.

He said these scholarships and bursaries were awarded to deserving students, irrespective of race, nationality, religion and creed to pursue their higher education at UCSI University.

The scholarships are also given to students pursuing pre-university, diploma, degree and postgraduate studies in addition to sport bursaries for state and national athletes.

"The recipients were selected based on outstanding academic achievements, athletic talents, strong leadership or financial need," he said in his speech at the UCSI Award and Scholarship Presentation 2017, here today.

The ceremony was graced by Deputy Minister of Higher Education Datuk Dr Mary Yap Kain Ching.

To date, Mohd Karim said UCSI has awarded more than RM120 million in financial aid and scholarships to over 4,000 students.
