Sultanah Of Pahang Attends Limkokwing University Cultural Festival

CYBERJAYA, May 4 (Bernama) -- The Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom attended the 2017 Limkokwing University International Cultural Festival held at the university's campus here tonight.

Also present at the festival were Principal Princess from Swaziland, Sikhanyiso Dlamini.

Tourism and Culture Deputy Minister Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin officiated the event.

Themed "The World in One Place", the 2017 Limkokwing International Cultural Festival this time is bigger than before by showcasing variations of cultural exhibitions from 102 countries through country booths, performance and competition.

Held since this morning, the one-day international cultural festival received recognition from Malaysia Book of Record tonight for attracting more than 100 countries to participate.

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology founder and president, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing in his statement for the event said, during this international cultural festival the students come together to promote and cultivate peaceful co-existence, peace volunteerism, a culture of tolerance and youth leadership to promote the spirit of universal brotherhood.

This year marks the fifth annual festival for the university and the festival last year was recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the most number of country delegates participating in a cultural festival with 93 countries participating.

Activities in conjunction with the festival include flags procession, country pavilions and cultural performance.
