To do well in any subject you must be able to think correctly! Thinking skills are something you can learn and develop. Ask yourself questions as you read your textbooks and notes. Talk to other students whom you notice have good thinking skills. You can also sharpen your thinking skills by taking IQ tests available in books or the Internet, or playing games that require thinking such as word games.

UiTM's Tourism Students Participate In Sustainable Tourism Programme In Chiang Mai

BANGKOK, May 8 (Bernama) -- A group of 36 Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) students and lecturers spent five days in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand recently to participate in a sustainable tourism programme.

The students and lecturers from the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Department participated in the programme beginning May 2, which was aimed at enhancing their experiences on sustainable tourism.

The participants were given an opportunity to engage with players in Chiang Mai's sustainable tourism industry and established networking with the province's key personalities in the industry, according to a statement today.

During the programme, they also undertook a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort at Huai Hongkrai Royal Development Study Centre, besides visiting several tourist attractions including Doi Inthanon, Doi Suthep, Mon Cam Mountain and Maetang Elephant Park.

They also visited Maejo University where they exchanged ideas on topics related to sustainable tourism with the university's lecturers and students.
