Talk to other students whom you notice have good thinking skills. You can also sharpen your thinking skills by taking IQ tests available in books or the Internet, or playing games that require thinking such as word games.

MSU Graduates Must Strive For Lifelong Learning - Chancellor

SHAH ALAM, Aug 6 (Bernama) --Sultanah Kedah, Tuanku Hajah Haminah wants the Management and Science University (MSU) graduates to give themselves added value by striving for lifelong learning.

Tuanku Hajah Haminah, who is also MSU Chancellor, said the graduates should strive to pursue, explore and learn various knowledge through education opportunities being offered at institutions of higher learning such as the MSU.

"The most important thing is determination and the desire to succeed with excellence. I would like to remind the graduates not to limit themselves. They need the courage and spirit to compete in facing the ever challenging global economic environment," she said in her speech when officiating the university's 21st convocation ceremony here today.

Also present was MSU president, Prof Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.

A total of 1,187 graduates received their scrolls at the two-day convocation which began today.

Meanwhile, for Chancellor's Gold Award recipient Mohamad Azmirul Hazny Abd Hafiz, said good time management and being active in social programmes were key factors for any student to succeed.

"I have always been a stickler for time management as it is not only important in learning (process) but also in the entire aspect of human life," said the 23-year-old bachelor's degree in investment management holder to reporters after the ceremony.

Mohamad Azmirul Hazny, who graduated with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.78, said the good time management aspect had helped him a lot in preparing himself to face the real world.
