To do well in any subject you must be able to think correctly! Thinking skills are something you can learn and develop. Ask yourself questions as you read your textbooks and notes. Talk to other students whom you notice have good thinking skills. You can also sharpen your thinking skills by taking IQ tests available in books or the Internet, or playing games that require thinking such as word games.

SINTOK, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) is in the midst of developing a 'pocket online' mobile app that will help school leavers in finding a matching and ideal course to pursue at local institutions of higher learning (IPTA) nationwide.

Higher Education director-general Datin Paduka Ir Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir said the course-matching app would be made available for download on Play Store and could be accessed after the announcement of the results of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examinations next month.

"We are introducing the app to keep up with the current technology where everything can be done by using a mobile phone.

"This app will help the students to analyse, match and decide what programme or course to pursue based on their academic qualifications," she told reporters at the opening of the state-level MOHE Carnival at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) here today.

Approximately 20,000 visitors are expected to flock to the two-day carnival to learn about higher education opportunities available in the country.
